20 May - Love Notes: In Conversation with Ed Cruikshank

Discover Ed’s interactive postbox artwork, Love Notes - an invitation to write and send messages of connection, compassion and peace. Ed will share the inspiration behind the project, and how his handcrafted objects and design philosophy aim to invite curiosity, spark conversations, and encourage questions to our belief systems which can nurture more tolerance and peace in our lives. Join this reflective conversation about the power of unexpected connections to challenge perspectives and build greater empathy.

About Ed Cruikshank:

Ed Cruikshank studied furniture making and industrial design in London before spending ten years creating unique furniture and objects while working with David Linley. He moved to Queenstown in 2001, where he established his own design practice. Since 2010, Ed has been infusing coded texts into his pieces. The meaning behind the words always relates to how heightened communication and deeper understanding can bring more love, unity, and peace to our lives.
