‍Invent - Invent a New Tool

Tuesday 24 January, 6-8pm

In this workshop, we will take a moment and look at all materials that are available. We will explore a variety of different natural materials like sticks, pinecones, leaves, plants, rocks, strings. Then we will think of new ways to use them. How can they combine them together to create new tools? What marks can they make. Experimentation is the goal.

Invent - Invent a New Shape

Sunday 5 February, 6-8pm

In this workshop, the main focus will be on inventing new shapes from the ones that are familiar to us. We will make a composition creating a new shape by changing the lay out of elements. We will then redraw our invented shape on a bigger piece of paper and decorate it with marks. Our aim will be to create more than one shape from the same set of elements to stimulate creativity.
