Te Muka Toi | Te Muka Tākata is a four-day creative and cultural hui held in Queenstown and Wanaka, featuring workshops, discussions, and events that explore creativity, connection, and collective action. Saturday 14 June, from 9am at Te Atamira

As part of Te Muka Toi | Te Muka Tākata – Creative and Culture Hui 2025, Te Atamira will host a full day of free workshops, kōrero, networking, and an exhibition.

The programme runs from 9:00am to 5:30pm, featuring sessions with Nat Tozer (mothermother) on artist-led collaboration, Brad Rowe on experience design, Fi McPhee on funding strategies, Zoe Hawkins (Brand+Butter) on brand storytelling, and Adrianne Roberts (Creative NZ) on sustaining creative careers. Workshops require registration, with limited spaces available.

The Whakaari gallery will also open a new exhibition, Karanga atu, Karanga mai, featuring work by Māori printmakers exploring whakapapa and identity.
