Morning Workshop

Lights, Camera, Action | Ages 5–7

Gear up as we dive into the wild and wonderful world of improvisational theatre! In this fun and energetic workshop, children will be introduced to drama and the performing arts, learning to embrace the spontaneous nature of theatre. This nurturing environment supports young performers in developing creative thinking, confidence, and collaboration—all while having a great time on stage.

Te Iwa o Matariki | Ages 8–13

Celebrate Matariki through creativity and clay in this hands-on workshop for young artists. Together, we’ll explore the stories and significance of the nine stars of Matariki, then bring them to life by designing and sculpting our own stars in clay. Participants will be guided through simple hand-building and mark-making techniques, while reflecting on the values of Matariki—remembrance, connection, and renewal. A meaningful and creative way for tamariki to connect with this special time of year.
