Community Sing is an open, drop-in choir for everyone in the community. It’s free and open to all! No registration required. Our next session will take place on Tuesday 3 November, 7pm-8pm.
3 November — Kiwi Classics
In this session, participants will collaborate to bring to life two quintessential Kiwi songs. We will start with a 2 part arrangement of Rain by Dragon, then move onto a 3 part arrangement of Better Be Home Soon by Crowded House. The harmonies will rock, the vibes will be excellent, and most importantly we will have fun.
1 December — Community Christmas Sing with Meg Hirata
Come along for an uplifting and joyful Community Xmas Sing session led by Meg Hirata, the passionate leader of the Wasabi Multicultural Choir. Meg specialises in building vocal layers through basic harmony and layering multiple familiar songs at once.
No experience is needed—just bring your voice and a smile for a happy evening of connection through song!
