Explore Te Atamira during Open Studios Day. Drop in to visit artists’ studios, enjoy creative workshops, and experience local music and community activities for all ages. Sunday 15 June, from 10am
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Into the Deep – Acrylic Exploration of Water
Hosted by Emma Peers, this one-hour workshop invites you to explore the movement, mood, and texture of water using expressive acrylic painting techniques. No experience needed—just bring your love of paint and curiosity to create vibrant, water-inspired art.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Community Sing
Led by Margaret O’Halnon, this open, drop-in choir welcomes everyone to experience the joy of singing together. No need to read music or sing perfectly—just bring your voice and enjoy the community spirit.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Turn Up The Music – Meet the Teacher, Try the Instrument
Hosted by Turn Up The Music, this drop-in session for children aged 5–8 lets kids meet music teacher Chris Stevens and try instruments like guitar, ukulele, and percussion. Discover the joy of music-making and learn about Term 3 group lessons.
