Draft and stitch a bespoke merino shell - Discover the simple pleasure of slow making. 2 x 6-hour sessions: Saturday 15 and Saturday 29 October, 9.30am-4pm | MAHI TAHI

Kay will guide you through the fundamentals of taking a 2-dimensional idea into a wearable. With minimal equipment, traditional practices and simple stitching techniques you will draft and construct a sleeved shell top by hand.

All tools provided. You are also welcome to bring your favourite scissors or sewing equipment.

The course fee does not include fabric cost: A large colour range of ethically produced merino can be ordered on the first Saturday at approx. $50 per metre. Merino is a great year round fabric and a good stable knit to work with.

Bring something to eat for lunch, there is a fully equipped kitchen or head out to a nearby cafe and be prepared for a couple of days of making, stories and laughter.
