An accessible art workshop for adults who may face barriers to participating and would like to use creativity to advance their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:30am – 1:30pm | MAHI TAHI

No prior art experience is required to participate in this fully accessible workshop, where you can embark on a transformative creative journey to enhance your physical and mental well-being.

While this class is not specifically an art therapy session, it aims to provide a nurturing space for individuals facing challenging circumstances, such as recovering from an illness or injury, or coping with the loss of a partner. Through the power of art, we offer an opportunity to reconnect with the community and foster personal growth.

Experience the guidance and expertise of artist Raquel Tamara Carter as she skillfully facilitates each session, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for your creative exploration.

If you're unsure about your eligibility for this class or have any questions, we encourage you to reach out to Claire Stewart, Arts Facilitator, at programmes@teatamira.nz. She'll be more than happy to provide further details and discuss how this workshop can benefit you.

Thank you to Te Hau Toka and Te Whatu Ora for bringing creativity to our community.

To register, please email Claire at programmes@teatamira.nz.
