A beginner-friendly meditation workshop focused on calm, awareness, and presence. Suitable for anyone curious about meditation, with no prior experience required. Workshop runs 4:15-6pm.
This workshop offers a practical and beginner-friendly introduction to meditation for adults. Participants will be guided through simple, accessible practices focused on breath awareness, body awareness, gentle movement, and quiet sitting. The session is designed to support calm, clarity, and presence in everyday life. No prior meditation experience is required.
About the facilitator: The workshop is facilitated by Cesar Carvajal, who has been practicing meditation for several years and brings a grounded, inclusive, and non-dogmatic approach. His teaching style is practical, supportive, and focused on wellbeing.
What to expect: The session will include guided meditation, gentle movement, periods of stillness, and time for reflection and questions. Simple sound from meditation instruments may be used occasionally to support attention and relaxation.
What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat, a cushion or pillow, a light blanket, and a bottle of water for comfort. Chairs will be available for those who prefer seated meditation.
