Join us for a fun-filled, arts and craft-packed holiday programme. Led by accredited Art teacher Michelle and run in collaboration with Youthtown, our bespoke, multidisciplinary arts programme will enhance and enthuse all through a range of workshops. Ages 5-12 | Tuesday 11 April - Friday 21 April

To secure full day programme, please select both morning and afternoon sessions. All materials provided. For full day programme, please bring a packed lunch.

Please note children will be supervised during lunch break only if signed onto full day programme.

WEEK ONE

Tuesday 11 April

Morning sessions

Doodle Bunnies

Ages 5-8, 9:30am-12pm (registration open from 9am)

Join us for a mindful morning filled with mark-making as we create doodled bunnies in response to the season of Easter.

In this programme, children will exercise their creative mind as they are guided through mark-making and drawing techniques and create their own contemporary, mixed media portrait of an Easter Bunny.

Mini Macrame

Ages 9-12, 9:30am-12pm (registration open from 9am)

Join us for a fun, hands-on craft making session.

In this programme children will combine mark-making and macrame techniques to create their own wall hanging.

Stone Moves by Miranda Bellamy & Amanda Fauteux Up Close

Ages 5-8, 9:30am-12pm (registration open from 9am)

In this workshop, children will be guided through the significance of place and space as they explore the works of Miranda Bellamy & Amanda Fauteux currently on display at Te Atamira and create zen stones.

Give them to a loved one or leave them for passers-by.

$30 (all materials provided)

Ages 9-12 9:30am-12pm (registration open from 9am)

Join us as we take inspiration from the works of ceramist, Kimmy Cantrell in a clay workshop.

In this programme children will be guided through clay sculpting and construction techniques as they create their own abstract portrait.

In this workshop, children will design and create their own Venus Fly Trap plants decorated in the style of Yayoi Kasama.
