Brooklyn has had a passion for dance ever since she was little. She is a Level 5 qualified dance teacher with over 18 years of experience in dance.

Brooklyn teaches Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary/Acro, and Toddlers Ballet through her dance school Dance QT.  Brooklyn focuses on her classes to be fun and enjoyable so students can express themselves through dance in a positive environment.

About Brooklyn:

Brooklyn's inspiration to teach comes from seeing her students gain confidence and a passion to express themselves through movement.

With over a 18-year background in dance Brooklyn has trained in multiple types of dance:  Ballet, BBO and RAD, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She achieved the highest mark in New Zealand in her Advanced 2 Jazz exam, and placed in the top 3 in the country in her Jazz solo seal exam, and diploma for contemporary. She achieved Distinction in her final BBO Advanced 2 Ballet Exam in 2021. Brooklyn loves to dance in competitions and in 2018 she received a PACANZ nomination for Jazz and Contemporary. She also studied dance through Te Kura achieving excellence throughout the course. In 2021 she completed her level 5 diploma to become a qualified dance teacher.
