Join us to hear Tūmai Cassidy take us on a journey exploring the importance of the Ngāi Tahu Cultural Mapping Project. Saturday 9 September, 3pm | PUĀWAI

This talk will make specific reference to how Te Reo Māori and Māoritanga has enabled Tūmai to research how his ancestors managed and sustained many environments from the wetlands of the Taieri Plains to the Makarore River and the tuna in Lake Whakatipu.

Tūmai’s research has played a vital role in informing the content of the immersive video installation, Ārai Awa.
